A total of six presentations are scheduled for July. Bowman Ashe from Dallas will bring his portfolio of stunning imagery, including shots of the Sculpture Ranch; Sam Yeates of Austin will share his new nude studies with a retrospective survey of his work in public and private collections; Colleen Gardner, the Executive Director of Selah, Bamberger Ranch Preserve,a 5,500 acre habitat restoration project will discuss butterflies of the region and ways to attract them. John Bennett will share his bronze sculptures and a retrospective review of his work which focuses on the Wild West! Icelandic sculptor Johann Eyfells' new large-scale sculptures will be previewed in a slides show, and Anna Marie Pavlik, who is exhibiting her work at Kirchman Gallery will discuss her printmaking. And yes, we are going to the dogs...Tony Franza and Mavi Vaselli bring their unique artistry to their beloved canines...

ARTS Encounters at Beninis, a bimonthly social, cultural weekend continues its fourth year at the Benini ranch located off Flat Creek Road near Johnson City - when speakers from around the country share their expertise and passion for creative and informative topics.

ARTS Encounters began when visitors to the fine arts project were curious about the sculptors whose work is featured on the hillsides. As more people became involved, the topics extended to additional fields, including the performing arts, medicine and healing, dance, gardening and more.
